GTA 6 Pre-Order, Editions & Price

Everything Rockstar has officially confirmed about pre-ordering Grand Theft Auto VI — both editions, every bonus, the platforms, and where to lock in your copy before launch.

The two editions at a glance

Rockstar is offering two editions at pre-order. There is no collector's edition.

Exact Ultimate Edition contents are set by Rockstar and may be expanded before launch — always confirm the item list on the official store page before buying.

Pre-order bonuses

• Vintage Vice City Pack — the main pre-order bonus, included with every edition when you pre-order.
• Free month of GTA+ — bundled with digital pre-orders.
• Ultimate Edition extras — additional vehicles, apparel, and in-game content on top of the pack.

Where to pre-order

GTA 6 is a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S title. These are the official general store pages Rockstar directs players to — choose your edition on the store.

Updated November 3: when can you pre-load GTA 6?

Rockstar now confirms that digital pre-loading begins Tuesday, November 10, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, ahead of the November 19 launch.

• PS5: November 10 at midnight local time for your time zone.
• Xbox Series X|S: November 10 at 12 a.m. GMT globally.
• Code-in-box Standard copies: expected at retailers beginning November 12; redeem the code once received to download.
• Storage: allow up to 212 GB of available space, depending on the device.

Digital vs. physical

Per Rockstar's official editions page and support documentation:

• Standard Edition — "Digital or Code in Box." The physical version contains a download code inside the box; Rockstar confirms no disc is included.
• Ultimate Edition — digital only. Rockstar states plainly that "a physical version of the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition is not available." There is no boxed Ultimate Edition.

If you buy the physical (Code in Box) Standard Edition and later want the Ultimate content, Rockstar lets you purchase the Ultimate Edition Upgrade — a digital add-on — from the PlayStation or Microsoft stores after redeeming your Standard code. Always confirm the current edition, format and price on the official store for your region before buying.

Is there a collector's edition?

Not a game edition, no. The closest thing is the separate "The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection" — a roughly $399 merchandise box set that does not include the game. If you want to play GTA 6, you still need the Standard or Ultimate Edition on top of it. (Confirmed by Rockstar; see coverage at Push Square and TechRadar.)

What about PC?

There is no PC version at launch — GTA 6 is PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only on November 19, 2026. Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all, so any specific PC date is speculation. It's fair to note that GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 both came to PC roughly a year or more after their console launches, which is why many expect an eventual PC release — but that's a pattern, not a confirmed plan, and no timeframe has been announced.
