GTA 6 Characters: Jason, Lucia & the Full Cast
For the first time in the series, Grand Theft Auto VI stars two playable protagonists. Here's everyone Rockstar has officially confirmed so far — the leads, their story, and the supporting cast around them.
The protagonists
GTA 6 follows a criminal couple — Rockstar has described their dynamic as Bonnie and Clyde. You can switch between them, and at points control both together.
Jason has a military background and fell in with drug runners in the Leonida Keys, drifting into a life of grifting and small-time crime. He's the more grounded half of the pair — looking for a way out of the cycle even as it keeps pulling him back in.
Lucia grew up in Liberty City and served time at the Leonida Penitentiary. She's introduced coming out of prison, determined to change her luck — and willing to take bigger risks than Jason to do it. She's the first non-optional female protagonist in a mainline GTA game.
Supporting cast
Named characters confirmed across Rockstar's trailers and previews so far.
- Cal Hampton — an associate of Jason's, seen in the reveal material.
- Boobie Ike — a Vice City businessman with ties to the local scene.
- Dre'Quan Priest — an up-and-coming figure in the music world.
- Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe & Roxy) — a social-media-era duo woven into the story's world.
- Raul Bautista — a career criminal connected to bigger scores.
- Brian Heder — a Leonida Keys figure in Jason's orbit.
Voice cast
Rockstar has kept the voice cast mostly under wraps. Stephen Root has confirmed he's part of the game, though not which character he plays. Expect more casting details to surface closer to the November 19, 2026 launch.
