For a world as large as GTA 6's Leonida, hitting full completion will be a serious undertaking — which is exactly why having a plan, and a way to track your progress, matters. Here's what to expect and how to approach it.

What usually counts toward 100%

Rockstar hasn't published the official GTA 6 completion checklist yet, but across the series, full completion has typically required a mix of the following:

• Story missions — completing the main campaign from start to finish.
• Collectibles — finding every hidden item scattered across the map (more on these below).
• Side activities and minigames — things like races, sports, and other optional pastimes, often with target scores or wins.
• Random encounters and strangers — optional characters and events out in the open world that each need to be completed.
• Challenges — skill-based or activity-based goals, such as distances traveled, stunts performed, or specific feats.

The exact list and percentages will be confirmed once the game is out, but if you've chased 100% in a past GTA, this structure will feel familiar.

Collectibles to expect

Collectibles are the part of completion that sends most players to a map, because they're deliberately hidden and easy to miss.
